This piece was created using construction materials from a hardware store for freelance project to create a cosplay prop.
The prop is an Aperture Science Portal gun used by Chell in the Portal series by Valve.
I used rubber floor mat for the cover to create a dented and faded look and pvc for the main body. The center glowing core I made using the fiberglass handle of a cleaning tool, sanded over to bounce the light better, then used a multi color flashlight on the inside to simulate the color changes of the gun.
